Who so deposited it in some of the chapels of the Palace of the Aljafería qualified for fín.

Huesca

Founded on century I a.C., the independent State of Osca (the present Huesca) had Senate and an advanced educative system. As of century VIII one became a Muslim bastion. In 1096 it was taken by Pedro de Aragón and it was the capital of the region until 1118, when this title happened to show it Zaragoza.
The gothic cathedral of Huesca is in its beautiful old helmet. The corroded facade of the west is crowned by a singular style wood gallery to mudéjar. The central ship is covered with a starred vault of fine ribbings tachonada of golden adornments. The jewel of the cathedral is an alabaster altarpiece carved by Damià Forment with excenas expresivas of the Crucifixión that the illumination helps to stand out.
In front of the Cathedral is the Renaissance City council where the Bell keeps from Huesca, a macabre picture of the century XIX that illustrates the most memorable event of the city: the decapitation of a noble group in century XII by order of king Ramiro II. The massacre took place in the room of the Bell of the university (century XVII), seat of the Provincial Archaeological museum, that contains archaeological findings and a collection of art that it includes fresh gothic and works of primitive Aragoneses, like the Virgin of the Rosary, of Miguel Jiménez.
Certainty is had that Santo Calíz was sent in year 258 by san Lorenzo to a temple in where now this the church of San Pedro the Old one.

Jaca

Jaca goes back to century II d. C. In century VIII the city resisted bravely to the Muslims - feat commemorated in the celebration of the Victory and 1035 became the first capital of the Aragón. kingdom The cathedral of Jaca, of century XI, is one of oldest of Spain; but its interior very is reformed. It was ordered to construct to be a majestruosa stay of Santo Calíz although constacia of whichever time is not had was there nor when it was transferred to San Juan of the Rock
Its primitive splendor is guessed in the recovered South porch, with statures of Biblical subject, as those of Isaac and David. Sculptures and ornados abovedamientos embellish the shady central ship and the chapels. In the claustros, a museum of sacred art contains a collection of fresh gothic románicos and and sculptures of churches of the region. The bordering streets form an attractive urban set.
Other monuments of Jaca that have interest are ciudadela of century XVI, a strength with angular towers located in the outskirts, the gothic Tower of the Clock and the church of the Carmen. Jaca is the to begin with main point to explore the Aragón Pyrenees.

San Juan de la Peña

Between both temples it takes the highway that ascends until San Juan of the Rock, overcoming a formed valley, partly, by imposing stone walls.
The monastery, literally inlaid on an enormous rock, is one of the forced visits of the Aragonese Way. Although its construction includes from the art visigodo to the Renaissance one, the church and claustro are two magnificent totally unique exponents of the medieval architecture to be partially excavated the temple and totally covered by the rock claustro.
In the 713 the Bishop of Huesca along with great multitude of Christians must save of the Muslims taking with himself objects of value and relics.
After crossing different places from the Pyrenean one, Holy Grail finally arrived at the hermitage formerly located in the present Monastery of San Juan of the Rock. In this place he remained up to 1399, year in which King Martín the Human is able to take it to the Aljafería de Zaragoza.
