The Zaragoza of the future confronts the new challenges with spirit and without losing the own signs of identity.
In order to demonstrate it we can find works like the remodeling of the Plaza del Pilar which now it is opened to a
multiple space, that includes from the Iglesia de S. Juan de los Panetes,
where is the Fuente de la Hispanidad, passing by the Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, the City council,
la Lonja and finalizing in, just recovered, Catedral de La Seo de S. Salvador.

This city is characterized to be located to borders of the most mighty
river of the longest Iberian Peninsula and of Spain, the Ebro.
In its two margins we can see the differences between two forms to conceive
a city: the right, classic margin and old and the new and revolutionary left architectonic,
and among them the bridges. Mediavales bridges or like the one of Stone
(located on the foundations of the Roman bridge), of the recent past like the one of
Santiago, or the one of Iron of Modernist and constructed style with the techniques of the
Eiffel Tower and improved with two additional lateral roads for the transit of vehicles,
but we cannot forget new, that they try to unite the more both borders, like the one the
Sources or the one the Almozara.
In the last years the population has become stabilized around
the 600,000 inhabitants, which turns it the fifth city of the country, thanks mainly to its strategic
position to about 300 km of the Mediterranean, of the Center of the peninsula, the Cantabrian and the East.
